Senior Portraits

I have been really wanting to get more into Senior Portraits. My cousin is a Senior in the Bay Area and agreed to my practice shoot with excitement... bless her! She is headed to San Fransisco come the Fall for college! She was amazing and open to all suggestions as well as bringing many of her own! Thank you tons, girlie! I had a blast and hope we can do more together! Here is a preview! These are just a few of my favorites!

New Baby Girl...

This is my third session with this family and they are so fun! They are now a family of five! Hence these new photos! They welcomed a baby girl, Shea, to the world about 4 months ago! She did a wonderful job. As you can see she is beautiful! Macen, she is the big sissy, is definitely the super model in this family. She is not camera shy what-so-ever! And there is Ethan, the incredibly helpful big brother! Those girls are very lucky to have such and caring and loving big brother to look out for them! This family is so sweet and for the most part loves to have their pictures taken! I look forward to future sessions with them! Enjoy!

Hi! These are my latest photos I did for a friend! It was a lot of fun! We went out behind my studio... this was my first time out there for a client!!

Congratulations to a Baby Girl!!

Here are a few of my favorites from my last photo session. Brianne is another old friend, current friend, sorority sister. I have not seen her in several years and it was such a good time to catch up, see her and meet her family. She is expecting a baby girl in early April and is incredibly small and adorable! It was an honor to take these photos and meet her husband. Congratulations!!

This session was fun because we traveled around a bit. They live near Pismo Beach and we made a trip to the beach, took some photos in her parents back yard and then we were off back to her home for some more intimate shots! Thanks for letting me explore and try out some new things!

These were taken are our way down to southern Califonia on a mini-vacation!

I love to practice on my kids.... I try different angles, experiment with lighting, play with depth of field and also just try and get to know my camera better! This was a day out with them enjoying the sunshine!

It has been a long time....

So... It has been awhile since I have written here. I want to be more involved in my blogging, but I am not sure what is too much and what is not enough. Maybe I am over analyzing the whole idea! Anyway, I recently photographed an old friend, a current friend, a sorority sister. It was awesome. She is one of my oldest friends and she allowed me to really experiment with new poses... some were awesome.. some did not work out as well. I just wanted to thank her for being so easy going and allowing me to take advantage!

This is her first baby, she is having a little girl! I can't wait to meet her!
